City of Waco Water Utility Services Green Partners
CURRENT GREEN PARTNERS:
Green Partners have partnered with the City of Waco Water Utility Services Department to dispose of their used cooking oil, high strength organic waste or aid in the collection or promotion of the program. HOW IT WORKS Green partners may have their used cooking oil disposed of by water utility services at no cost. Once the oil or waste is collected, it is added to high strength organic waste digestor at the WMARSS wastewater treatment plant where it is broken down biologically. This process creates methane gas as a byproduct, which is used to generate electricity on-site. The electricity is then used to run the plant. Become a Green Partner Interested in becoming a Water Utility Services Green Partner? How about disposing of your used cooking oil or organic waste at no cost?
